Uncovering Your Roots: Getting Started with Genealogy

Interested in learning about your family history? Join us for “Uncovering Your Roots: Getting Started with Genealogy”!

In collaboration with Madison Public Library and the Wisconsin Historical Society, the Go Big Read program is hosting a genealogy workshop exploring methods to uncover, document, and preserve the unique stories, traditions, and recipes passed down through your family. During this workshop, we will examine the importance of learning about and documenting family history while highlighting the tools and resources available at Madison Public Library and the Wisconsin Historical Society to help you conduct your own genealogical research.

Please email the UW-Madison Go Big Read Coordinator ([email protected]) with accommodation requests or questions.
